Red Creeper
Climbing plant type: Creeper (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This short creeper is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 18 feet (5.5 meters) and growing as high as 68 feet (20.7 meters). It prefers to grow on rock formations.
It takes 3 months for the red and lime stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are flat and wavy.
The 4 pointed, smooth leaves reach up to 3 inches (8 cm) in length. They are found in pastel red, gentle green and silver varieties, and have serrated edges.
During late spring, the creeper produces thousands of tiny red flowers, and during the early autumn, after flowering, it produces a handful of large seed pods.
