Yellow-green Moss

This yellow-green moss is commonly found growing in small clumps In bogs.
It is short, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches and they are exceptionally hardy, and is slightly rigid.
When mature, emerald triangular capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release thousands of spores; it does not cause many allergic reactions.
