Clinging Willow

Shrub type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This average-sized shrub grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall and lives for around 67 years. It is very susceptible to disease and insect infestation.

It has dozens of sturdy, curved stems covered in silky, light gray bark, and the wood inside is mahogany-coloured.

It produces dozens of small, light brown flowers with oval-shaped shaped petals. They fall easily and have an overpowering scent that smells like burning wood. In mid-autumn it forms tinypurple aril (seeds with fleshy covers).

It is suitable for making strong rope
