Blue Puffgrass

Grass type: Perennial (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This small, emerald grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The needle-like stalks grow in extensive patches that are strong and tough and they overwhelm an area rapidly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, azure puff.

During the early winter, it produces very little pollen, but can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of tiny grains.

It is suitable for use as a construction material
The stems are covered in large spikes.
It comes in 56 varieties.
