Clinging Lime Grass

This short, lime green or cream grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The thin stalks grow in small clumps that are strong and tough and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, dark grey puff.

During the early summer, it produces very little pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of giant grains.
