Copperclimb
Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This big vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 116 feet (35.4 meters) and growing as high as 51 feet (15.5 meters). It prefers to grow on specific trees.
It takes 3 years for the copper stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 1.7 feet (51 cm) and are rough and prickly.
The broad, flat, crispy leaves reach up to 1.6 feet (48 cm) in length. They are solid amber or sky blue, with indigo zig-zags, and have ripped edges.
During late spring, the vine produces lots of tiny florescent orange flowers, and during the mid-summer, after flowering, it produces a modest amount of very large seed pods.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
The entire flower is edible and very salty.
It can survive a very long time without water.
