Caramel creeper
Climbing plant type: Creeper (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This small creeper is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 6 feet (1.8 meters) and growing as high as 96 feet (29.3 meters). It prefers to grow on trees.
It takes 5 months for the caramel and slate stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are rough and gnarled.
The long, tapering, clammy leaves reach up to 4 inches (10 cm) in length. They are white and copper, and have ripped edges.
During late spring, the creeper produces copious amounts of large pink flowers, and during the early autumn, after flowering, it produces a handful of large seed pods.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
