Azurevine

Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This short bine is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 22 feet (6.7 meters) and growing as high as 270 feet (82.3 meters).

It takes 3 months for the azure stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are hard and brittle.

The 3 pointed, crispy leaves reach up to 5 inches (13 cm) in length. They are light brown on the sides and violet at the center, and have ripped edges.

During late spring, the bine produces dozens of small cream flowers, and during the mid-summer, after flowering, it produces copious amounts of tiny fruits.

A particular bird species likes to nest in it.
