Coppervine

Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This huge bine is a slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 1,810 feet (551.7 meters) and growing as high as 733 feet (223.4 meters). It prefers to grow on specific trees.

It takes 36 years for the orange-yellow stems to mature, by which point they each have a diameter of 2.4 feet (74 cm) and are rough and gnarled.

The long, tapering, smooth leaves reach up to 2.3 feet (71 cm) in length. They are either red, or cream with florescent purple splotches, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the bine produces thousands of large copper flowers, and during the late autumn, after flowering, it produces excessive amounts of small seed pods.

It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
