Emeraldfern

This green or turquoise moss is commonly found growing in large clumps In rainy mountain ranges.
It is average-sized, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and they spread and grow quickly, and is very tough.
When mature, emerald spiral capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release thousands of spores; it does not cause many allergic reactions.
