Yellow-Green Succulent

Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)

This average-sized cactus grows up to 26 feet (7.9 meters) tall. The wispy stem is yellow-green, and is covered in thousands of rigid beige spines.

It is slow growing, taking 37 years to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a handful of flowers, with olive petals and a yellow center, grow at the top, reappearing after 4 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 30 curved petals. It has a weak scent that smells like fresh linen.

The cactus's skin is thick, the purple flesh is rubbery, and the green sap is thin and causes vomiting if consumed.

It commonly grows in large patches.
It is suitable for making paper
