Turquoise

Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)

This giant leaf succulent grows up to 130 feet (39.6 meters) tall. The pleated stem is gray, and is covered in thousands of flexible turquoise spines. The smooth-edged, very narrow and elongated leaves are a shade of gray-green that gradient shifts to blue at the top. Large amounts of them grow from the base in a spiral pattern. The leaves are light, and easily come away when pulled.

It is very slow growing, taking 12 years to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, several flowers with petals that are copper in the center, drab blue in the middle and brown at the edges grow at the top, reappearing after 7 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is made up of several petals in raised layers. It has a soft scent that smells like baby powder.

The leaf succulent's skin is thin, the purple flesh is smooth, and the peach sap is thin and can kill if consumed.

It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
