Crimson Creeper

This short creeper is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 12 feet (3.7 meters)0.

It takes 3 months for the pink-red stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 3 cm (1.2 inches) and are thick and twisted.

The very thick, clammy leaves reach up to 5 inches (13 cm) in length. They are blood red on the edges and peach at the center, and have jagged edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces handfuls of giant bronze flowers.
