Brownleaf
Shrub type: Deciduous (Stores water in its stem)This giant shrub grows up to 10 feet (3.0 meters) tall and lives for around 15 years. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.
It has dozens of knobbly, crooked stems covered in thick, wrinkled, brown-green bark, and the wood inside is black.
The branches are very short and thin that and are covered with small amounts of large, spear shaped, leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are dark brown at the bottom and beige with subtle yellow dots at the top, light and waxy.
It produces a thick sheet of small, purple flowers with 3 crescent-shaped shaped petals. They are sturdy and have the faintest scent that smells like onion. In mid-summer it forms gianthazel, winged seeds that float and land far away.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
