Magenta
Flower type: Perennial (Stores water in its leaves)This small flower grows up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. Its red stem is very thin and straight, and the giant, magenta leaves are teardrop-shaped with smooth edges. Many leaves grow at the base of the stem, and more leaves alternate on the stem from about halfway up, up to the flower head.
5 to 11 medium-sized flowers grow on alternate sides up the length of the stem. The flowers are 6 cm (2.4 inches) wide, with petals that are generally light grey; each flower tends to be a variation of this colour. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 43 petals. They are very delicate.
It has a delicate scent that smells like vomit, and it has excessive amounts of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions. It is a self-pollinator, but is also visited by a small species of bird.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
