Purple Majesty
Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)This huge leaf succulent grows up to 115 feet (35.1 meters) tall. The finger-like stem is moss green, and is covered in brittle dark red spines. The toothed-edged, asymmetrical leaves are solid purple with magenta zig-zags. Small bunches of them grow from the base in a symmetrical pattern. The leaves are flimsy, and take some effort to detach.
It is slow growing, taking 50 years to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a handful of flowers, with petals that are white at the sides and pink at the center, grow at the top, reappearing after 6 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is made up of 8 petals in raised layers. It has a weak scent that smells like garlic.
The leaf succulent's skin is thick, the gold flesh is rough, and the peach sap is thin and can kill if consumed.
