Yellowgrass
Grass type: Annual (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)This enormous, yellow grass grows up to 19 feet (5.8 meters) tall. The sickle shaped stalks grow in large clumps that are durable and they are slow to spread and grow.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, olive flower.
During the early winter, it produces excessive amounts of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of large grains.
It is difficult to cut through.
