Blood Red
Flower type: Annual (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)This big flower grows up to 6.7 feet (2.0 meters) tall. Its blood red stems grow from the base of the plant in bunches of 8 and are very thin and straight, and split into numerous branching stems at the top, and the small, lime green leaves are broad, flat with smooth edges. Many leaves grow at the base of the stem, and more leaves grow in pairs along the length of the stem.
