Coppergrass

Grass type: Biennial (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)

This modest-sized, lime green grass grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The thick stalks grow in thin clumps that are resistant and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, copper puff.

During the late autumn, it produces an average amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of small grains.

It comes in 2 varieties, each with a different petal colour.
It is suitable for making paper
