Blue Tail Grass

Grass type: Annual (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)

This large, olive grass grows up to 4 feet (1.2 meters) tall. The slender, pointed stalks grow in thick clumps that are strong and tough.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, sky blue tail.

During the late summer, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of medium-sized grains.

It can survive a very long time without water.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
