Golden Shield Moss

This yellow moss is commonly found blanketing small areas In moorlands, In marshes, and In rainforests.
It is enormous, growing up to 1.7 feet (51 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps and they overwhelm an area rapidly, and is extremely frail; it takes a lot of damage when trodden on.
When mature, emerald shield-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-summer to release thousands of spores; it does not cause many allergic reactions.
