Blue Wave Vine

This large vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 91 feet (27.7 meters) and growing as high as 114 feet (34.7 meters).

It takes 4 years for the yellow stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 7 inches (18 cm) and are flat and wavy.

The slender, pointed, covered in fine hairs leaves reach up to 2.8 feet (84 cm) in length. They are generally brilliant blue, and have wavy edges.

During late spring, the vine produces many tiny blue flowers, and during the early winter, after flowering, it produces a modest amount of large seed pods.
