Climbing Paperbark

This big bine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 114 feet (34.7 meters) and growing as high as 38 feet (11.6 meters). It prefers to grow on trees.

It takes 4 years for the pink-red stems to mature, by which point they often have a diameter of 1.5 feet (46 cm) and are rough and woody.

The long, narrow, clammy leaves reach up to 2.8 feet (86 cm) in length. They are pink and hazel, and have serrated edges.
