Watergrass
Grass type: Annual (Stores water in its stem)This small, lime green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The thin stalks grow in large clumps that are rigid and they spread and grow quickly.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, red puff.
During the late autumn, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of giant grains.
It is difficult to kill and will quickly regrow if cut.
It is suitable for making paper
