Twisting Willow
Tree type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This short tree grows up to 6 meters (19.7 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 352 years old. It is very susceptible to disease and insect infestation.
It has a long and flexible, curved trunk covered in very thick, waxy, brown bark, and inside, the hard wood is burgundy-brown.
The branches trail down towards the ground and are covered with small bunches of smooth, huge, broad, flat leaves with wavy edges. The leaves themselves are white on the sides and caramel at the center.
In late summer it forms medium-sized, orange, winged seeds that spin and fall nearby.
The roots are shallow and grow straight down, and overall the tree is sturdy, flexible, and difficult to uproot or break.
Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with the space between filled with undergrowth.
It can survive a very long time without water.
