Puffgrass

This short, green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The long, narrow stalks grow in sparse patches that are sturdy and flexible.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, light orange puff.

During the mid-summer, it produces an average amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of tiny grains.
