Twinevine

Tree type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This small tree grows up to 2 meters (6.6 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 286 years old. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.

It has a thick, wavy trunk covered in wrinkled, brown-green bark, and inside, the very hard wood is yellow.

The small handful of branches trail down to the ground and are covered with very large amounts of fuzzy, huge, perforated leaves with wavy edges. The leaves themselves are lilac and yellow.

In late summer it forms large, light brown, winged seeds that spin and fall nearby.

The roots grow as a near perfect mirror of the tree above, and overall the tree is rigid and weak, and breaks apart easily.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with clear space between them.

It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
