Twistvine Grass
Grass type: Biennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This short, gray grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The wispy stalks grow in thin clumps that are sturdy and flexible and they are slow to spread and grow.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, peach spikelet.
During the mid-summer, it produces very little pollen; it can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of giant grains.
It is overwhelmingly resistant to fire damage.
It is suitable for making paper
