Twining Peachvine

This short bine is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 22 feet (6.7 meters) and growing as high as 318 feet (96.9 meters).

It takes 3 months for the gray-green stems to mature, by which point they each have a diameter of 3 cm (1.2 inches) and remain soft and fleshy.

The perforated, rough leaves reach up to 5 inches (13 cm) in length. They are black on the sides and orange at the center, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the bine produces dozens of giant peach flowers.
