Succulindigo
Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)This small cactus grows up to 9 feet (2.7 meters) tall. The slender, pointed stem is yellow-green, and is covered in handfuls of flexible beige spines. The cuboid body is gray-green, and is covered in handfuls of flexible beige spines.
It is very slow growing, taking 33 years to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, several flowers with solid green petals decorated with bronze lines and a ashy orange central disk grow at the top, reappearing after 9 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is shaped like a tube made up of 10 raised, narrow petals. It has a powerful scent that smells like glue.
The cactus's skin is extremely thick, the azure flesh is slimy, and the indigo sap is thin.
It can flourish even in standing water.
It can grow in even the most barren lands.
