Aquaflora
Tree type: Deciduous (Stores water in its leaves)This big tree grows up to 78 meters (255.9 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 239 years old. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.
It has a long and flexible, straight trunk covered in fine, waxy, dark gray bark, and inside, the flexible wood is yellow-brown.
The branches are short, rigid and upright and are covered with thick bunches of covered in fine hairs, miniature, perforated leaves with ripped edges. The leaves themselves are dull green and olive.
In early spring, it produces a handful of small, sky blue blossoms with wide petals with a tube-like floral cup. They fall easily and have a powerful scent that smells like bleach.
In late summer it forms small, caramel, tough-shelled seeds.
The roots grow as a near perfect mirror of the tree above, and overall the tree is rigid and weak, and breaks apart easily.
Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with the space between filled with undergrowth.
It is difficult to kill and will quickly regrow if it falls or if its limbs are knocked off.
It is often home to a particular bird species.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
