Violetgrass

This small, green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The long, tapering stalks grow in sparse patches that are prone to bending and snapping under stress and they are exceptionally hardy.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, violet flower.

During the mid-summer, it produces very little pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a few small grains.
