Silvershade Tree

This short tree grows up to 6 meters (19.7 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 200 years old. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a branched, curved trunk covered in very thick, silky, dark gray bark, and inside, the hard wood is pale brown-grey.

The branches are tall, rigid and upright and are covered with small amounts of soft, huge, asymmetrical leaves with ripped edges. The leaves themselves are found in blue and magenta varieties.

In late summer it forms medium-sized, ashy yellow, shelled seeds.

The roots are fine and grow in a large web, and overall the tree is rigid and weak, and breaks apart easily.

Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with patches of undergrowth between them.
