Sky Blue Clinger
Flower type: Perennial (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This small flower grows up to 5 inches (13 cm) tall. Its green stem is very thin and straight with a curved tip, and the huge, sky blue leaves are dark silver on the underside and are wispy with toothed edges. Many leaves grow at the base of the stem, and more leaves alternate on the stem from about halfway up, up to the flower head.
A single tiny flower sits at the end of the stem. The flowers are 5 cm (2.0 inches) wide, with petals that are generally orange; each flower tends to be a variation of this colour. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 30 petals. They are very delicate.
It has a weak scent that smells like lavender, and it has lots of pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions. It is pollinated by the wind, but is also visited by a variety of insects.
Once on fire, it burns very quickly.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
