Blue Thorn Creeper

This modest-sized creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 29 feet (8.8 meters)0. It prefers to grow on trees.

It takes 22 months for the green stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 4 inches (10 cm) and are rough and prickly.

The long, narrow, clammy leaves reach up to 1.6 feet (48 cm) in length. They are black on the edges and blue at the center, and have serrated edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces large amounts of large beige flowers.
