Lilac Grass
Grass type: Perennial (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)This small, slate or yellow grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The wide stalks grow in small clumps that are flimsy.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, lilac spikelet.
During the mid-autumn, it produces a modest amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of large grains.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
It aggressively steals nutrients from other large plants (but not each other).
The bark is frequently covered in moss.
