Redvine

Flower type: Biennial (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This average-sized flower grows up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. Its red stem is very thick and straight, and the giant, brown leaves are thick with smooth edges. A pair of leaves grow at the base of the flower head.

Two medium-sized flowers sit at the end of each stem. The flowers are 17 cm (6.7 inches) wide, with petals that are dull orange on the edges and dull orange at the center. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 60 petals. They are hardy.

It has a strong scent that smells like faeces, and it has very little pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions. It is a self-pollinator.


It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
It is possible to grow it from cuttings.
