Magenta Rosebud
Flower type: Annual (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)This small flower grows up to 5 inches (13 cm) tall. Its emerald stem is thick, and the huge, emerald leaves are asymmetrical with smooth edges. A pair of leaves grow at the base of the flower head.
Dozens of tiny flowers grow along the length of the stem. The flowers are 3 cm (1.2 inches) wide, with petals that are generally magenta; each flower tends to be a variation of this colour. The flower head is made up of 9 petals in raised layers. They are sturdy.
It has an intense scent that smells like roses, and it has very little pollen. It is a self-pollinator.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
