Silvergrass

This giant, silver grass grows up to 18 feet (5.5 meters) tall. The spear shaped stalks grow in small clumps that are rigid.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, red tail.

During the early autumn, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of tiny grains.
