Coppervine

Flower type: Annual (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This average-sized flower grows up to 8 inches (20 cm) tall. Its red stem is thick and splits into 3 branching stems at the top, and the small, copper leaves are light red or aquamarine on the underside and are thin with wavy edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

1 to 5 medium-sized flowers grow on alternate sides up the length of the stem. The flowers are 46 cm (18.1 inches) wide, with solid bronze petals decorated with magenta dots and a dark brown central disk. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 50 petals. They detach easily.

It has an overpowering scent that smells like honeysuckle, and it has an average amount of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions. It is pollinated by insects and is particularly attractive to butterflies.

The leaves are bitter, but very healthy.
