Blue Tuftgrass

This small, sky blue grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The long, narrow stalks grow in sparse patches that are rigid and they spread and grow quickly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, magenta tuft.

During the mid-summer, it produces lots of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of small grains.
