Silverwood Lavenderberry

Shrub type: Coniferous (Stores water in its stem)

This modest-sized shrub grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall and lives for around 34 years. It is not very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has several flexible, straight stems covered in silky, silver bark, and the wood inside is yellow-brown.

The branches are long and slender that and are covered with large amounts of large, asymmetrical, leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are crimson on the edges and indigo at the center, tough and soft.

It produces many medium-sized, light grey flowers with broad, flat petals. They are sturdy and have a scent that varies in strength that smells like lavender. In early autumn it forms tinyflorescent orange berries.
