Moss Green Grass

Grass type: Biennial (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)

This small, moss green or indigo grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The wispy stalks grow in thin clumps that are flexible and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, orange spikelet.

During the mid-summer, it produces lots of pollen, but it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of large grains.

It is suitable for making strong rope
It is difficult to kill and will quickly regrow if it falls or if its limbs are knocked off.
