Lilac Puff Grass

Grass type: Biennial (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)

This average-sized, moss green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The pleated stalks grow in thin clumps that are resilient.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, lilac puff.

During the mid-summer, it produces a fair amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of giant grains.

It is almost impossible to grow indoors.
All parts of the creeper are edible.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
It can grow in even the most barren lands.
