Silver Petal

Flower type: Annual (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)

This big flower grows up to 2.7 feet (81 cm) tall. Its orange stem is thin, and the small, yellow-green leaves are pleated with tattered edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

A single medium-sized flower sits at the end of the stem. The flowers are 61 cm (24.0 inches) wide, with solid bold green petals decorated with grey dots and a silver central disk. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 30 curved petals. They fall easily.

It has a faint scent that smells like new carpet, and it has lots of pollen,but it does not cause many allergic reactions. It is pollinated by insects and is visited by a large variety of them.

It is very delicate and is easy to kill.
The entire flower is edible and overwhelmingly bitter.
