Magenta Vine
Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This small vine is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 16 feet (4.9 meters) and growing as high as 122 feet (37.2 meters). It prefers to grow on rock formations.
It takes 6 months for the green stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 3 cm (1.2 inches) and are rough and gnarled.
The asymmetrical, clammy leaves reach up to 3 inches (8 cm) in length. They are solid magenta with aquamarine streaks, and have smooth edges.
During late spring, the vine produces hundreds of small amber flowers.
It releases hallucinogenic smoke when burned.
