Copper Grass

Grass type: Biennial (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This small, copper grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The long, tapering stalks grow in sparse patches that are resilient.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, cream tuft.

During the early winter, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of medium-sized grains.

It can grow in even the most barren lands.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
It comes in 66 varieties.
The leaves are high in natural sugars.
