Flame Moss

This orange moss is commonly found blanketing giant areas In rainy mountain ranges, On trees, and On rotten logs.
It is small, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps, and is extremely light; it burns easily in strong sunlight.
When mature, emerald flame-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release hundred of spores; it can cause allergic reactions.
