Orangevine
Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This short vine is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 6 feet (1.8 meters) and growing as high as 41 feet (12.5 meters).
It takes 3 months for the orange stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 3 cm (1.2 inches) and remain soft and fleshy.
The very thick, sticky leaves reach up to 6 inches (15 cm) in length. They are found in azure, indigo and azure varieties, and have serrated edges.
During late spring, the vine produces large amounts of small caramel flowers.
