Silverpetal

Flower type: Annual (Stores water in its leaves)

This colossal flower grows up to 15.1 feet (4.6 meters) tall. Its moss green stem is thick, and the giant, silver leaves are light gray and yellow on the underside and are needle-like with wavy edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

Each stem splits 5 to 7 times; a single medium-sized flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 76 cm (29.9 inches) wide, with each petal a slightly different shade of pink. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 54 petals. They are very delicate.

It has a scent that varies in strength that smells like pot-purri, and it has very little pollen, but can cause severe allergic reactions. It is pollinated by insects and is visited by a large variety of them.


It spreads easily and often blanket large areas.
